Mary-Victoria Voutsas has given solo recitals at prominent venues, including the Kennedy Center’s Terrace Theatre, and performed with ensembles such as the Peabody Chamber Orchestra and members of the National Symphony Orchestra. She was the pianist for the celebration of the 75th NATO Summit and recently completed a 10-week artist residency for the World Bank.

Her awards include the 2023 Gold Medal for the Nobel-Artist International Competition, First Place in the 2023 World Music Competition of Charlotteville, Bronze Medal in the 2023 Carles amd Sofia - Alicia de Laroccha International Piano Competition, and is the 2023 Platinum Medal recipient for the Quebec International Music Festival.

Voutsas studied under Nikita Fitenko, Yuliya Gorenman, and Tatyana Hearne, and holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Catholic University. She previously worked as a visiting teaching artist-in-residence at the Wolf Trap Center for the Performing Arts. Currently, she serves as a collaborative pianist for Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.

This Salon Concert is presented by the Classical Music Committee of The Arts Club of

Washington, and seeks to offer chamber music in an historic atmosphere evocative of the period during which the music was written.
