The Arts Club of Washington, the former home of President James Monroe, is delighted to host this virtual event featuring Barbara VornDick -- author of Eliza’s True Story, The First Biography of President Monroe’s Eldest Daughter, and spearhead of the Bringing Eliza Home Project. Barbara will discuss her exhaustive work to investigate and bring to light the truth about Eliza Monroe Hay, culminating in the recent exhumation and reinterment of Eliza’s remains from Paris, France, to Richmond, Virginia.
