In the play, Gabriel, a youthful-looking vampire still clinging to his faith, goes to a house of worship where he encounters a clergyman, Noah, with a troubled past of his own. As Gabriel struggles with his monstrous nature and his calling from God, Noah attempts to offer spiritual guidance, only to have his own secrets exposed.

The Drama Committee of The Arts Club of Washington is pleased to present the winner of the One Act Play Competition for 2025. The competition generated 100 original one-act scripts and recognizes and rewards a talented playwright with a $1,000 prize, staged reading, and two nights’ accommodation at the Club.
