The Classical Music and History Committees present a nostalgic look back at the Club's first programmed event from October 1916.
Enjoy bespoke speciality cocktails with popular music of the day by Scott Joplin, James P. Johnson, and Jelly Roll Morton, followed by dinner and a sampling of the works of the classical composers who were catching our Founders' attention 109 years ago: Chopin, Beethoven, Liszt, and Debussy.

RUSSELL WILSON
Russell Wilson, a two-time Old Time Piano Playing World Champion, holds a Bachelor’s degree in classical piano performance and a Master’s degree in jazz from the University of Maryland. Since 2002, he has performed as a member of the President's Own U.S. Marine Band, playing all styles of music on piano and accordion at White House events and public concerts across the National Capital Region. He also plays with orchestras, chamber groups, wedding bands, jazz bands, and his church worship team.
