EVENT AT CAPACITY: WAITLIST IS OPEN

Members of the History Committee invite interested Club Members and a guest to join our new docents* on a visit to the Heurich House Museum in the Dupont Circle neighborhood and learn about the lifestyle of the Club's early members as we near our 110th anniversary.

The Gilded Age mansion was built for Christian and Amelia Heurich, long-time members and patrons of The Arts Club of Washington.  Heurich was the founder and owner of Washington's, largest brewery, and his “Brewmaster’s Castle” retains most of its original architectural features and interior furnishings.

The tour is free and lasts approximately one hour.  Attendance is limited to 10 people, so reserve early!  We will assemble for the tour in the garden immediately behind the mansion, accessible via Sunderland Place, between 19th and 20th Streets, N.W.   Learn more

*Volunteer docents lead public tours of The Arts Club of Washington most Fridays September-May at 11 a.m. and also conduct group tours on request.  To learn more about the docent program, contact Club Historian Martin Murray

The Arts Club of Washington is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. located at 2017 I Street N.W., Washington D.C. 20006
