The next Noir Movie Night presentation is THE MAN WHO CHEATED HIMSELF with Lee J. Cobb and Jane Wyatt.  This 1950 production received positive reviews from movie critics upon its release and holds a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

A woman (Jane Wyatt) in the process of divorce shoots her husband and gets her police lieutenant boyfriend (Lee J. Cobb) to help hide the body.  The police lieutenant boyfriend is assigned to the case, along with his younger brother, who is new to the homicide division and is eager to prove himself a worthy detective.

One reviewer wrote, "... it's fun watching the dodgy detective trying to keep his scrappy sibling off the scent."

This film was restored and preserved by the UCLA Film and Television Archive and the Film Noir Foundation in 2018.
