The evening will take the audience on a one-hundred year journey through Cuban history through its music. This is a unique cultural music program that you will not want to miss!

1. 1860s. Habanera. La Paloma by Sebastian Yradier.
2. 1911. Criolla-Bolero. Quiéreme mucho by Gonzalo Roig.
3. 1928. Son-pregón. El Manisero by Moisés Simons.
4. 1947. Guaracha. Quizás, Quizás, Quizás by Osvaldo Farrés.
5. 1955. Cha cha.cha. Me lo dijo Adela by Otilio Portal.
6. 1930s/1960s. Canción. Guantanamera by Joseito Fernández / Julián Orbón.

Enjoy a fun reception after the musical program with Mojitos and a tapas buffet to include:

About the Artist:

Emilio Cueto is a renowned Cuban American collector, musicographer, pianist and independent scholar, holding one of the largest private collections of Cuban memorabilia. 

Cueto has published several books on Cuban culture and history
and contributed to numerous periodicals.  Since 1992, he has authored more
than 10 books, including the Inspired by Cuba series, published by the
LibraryPress@UF, an imprint of the University of Florida Press.
Cueto also performs traditional and engaging songs from Cuba on piano,
providing history on the range of musical genres.

Cueto was born in Havana, Cuba and has lived in the United States

since 1961. He is a retired attorney who worked for the Inter-American
Development Bank. 


The reception begins at 6:00 pm and the performance at 7:00 pm

A reservation is required by 8 pm the day before.
