Angelov has appeared as soloist with numerous American orchestras including the National Philharmonic at Strathmore, the U.S. Army Orchestra, the Arlington Philharmonic, along with orchestras throughout Russia and Europe. She has performed at venues such as the John F. Kennedy Center, the National Cathedral, the Kreeger Museum and National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, Carnegie Hall and Merkin Concert Halls in New York, the Beethoven Hall of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, and the Prokofiev Hall of the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg. Her festival appearances have included the Kronberg Academy Masterclasses, IMS Prussia Cove, Carl Flesch Akademie, and Heifetz International Music Institute, where she has been an artist on several tours and residencies.

Angelov has been awarded with the Milka Violin Prize at the Pablo Casals Festival in France, the Verao Classico Award, the Amadeus Concerts Emerging Artists Award, and she has been honored by the National Society of Arts and Letters. Competitions won include the Music Teachers National Association’s (MTNA) National Strings Competition. She is supported by the DC Commission of Arts and Humanities, and has received scholarships from the Markow-Totevy Foundation and the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation.

Angelov is currently under the tutelage of renowned violinist, Julia Fischer, in Munich, Germany. Previously, she studied with Aaron Rosand, Robert Lipsett, and Olga Khroulevitch. During her time at the NSO Youth Fellowship Program, she was mentored by NSO concertmaster, Nurit Bar-Josef.
