Capital Cabaret:

Capital Cabaret was founded in 2022 as a 501(c)3 non-profit to produce the National Capital Cabaret Festival each March. We are the first organization to bring a dedicated cabaret festival to DC! “March is Cabaret Month” is celebrated nationally in New York, Chicago, Seattle and Minneapolis, but can you believe Washington DC, a cultural as well as political capital did not? We are pleased to open the 2024 National Capital Cabaret Festival with a New Artist Showcase on Friday and bring national headliners to the Arts Club of Washington.

Anna Bergman:

Anna Bergman has been hailed by THE WASHINGTON POST as “a vocal citizen of the world who has triumphed in everything from Broadway tunes to opera arias and the sultry innuendoes of the cabaret chanteuse.” She  performs internationally in concerts, cabaret, theatre, opera, music festivals, with symphony orchestras, on television and recordings. Highlights include: soloist at the White House and for HM Queen Elizabeth’s birthday/60th Jubilee, Lincoln Center’s American Songbook, Carnegie Hall’s centennial tribute to Ira Gershwin & “Vienna City of Dreams Festival 2014,” Kennedy Center’s Sondheim Celebration in “A Little Night Music,” “The Light In The Piazza” in concert as Margaret with Matthew Morrison and Adam Guettel at The Intiman Theatre, Seattle and numerous music festivals including Aspen, Chicago Humanities and International Festival of Cardiff Wales.
