Arts Club of Washington Pride Poetry Workshop

On Thursday, February 16, Malik Thompson will lead “Of Wild Trees and Lightning: The Poetics of Bewilderment.” Thompson is interested in creating a space where participants can relinquish common orientations toward poem writing and sink, unabashedly, into their haunts and dreams. Malik Thompson is the former co-chair of OutWrite DC, an annual LGBTQ+ festival, and bookstore manager for Black, queer-owned Loyalty Bookstores.
