Maestro Lilienstein has selected examples from Tristan und Isolde, Die Meistersinger and Parsifal to demonstrate “deeds of music made visible” but also those orchestral moments which reach us beyond any need for words or representation on the stage.

Within one lecture - or within a lifetime, this would be a study of musical craftsmanship on the highest level. Maestro Lilienstein has selected  examples from Tristan und Isolde, Die Meistersinger and Parsifal to demonstrate “deeds of music made visible” but also those orchestral moments which reach us beyond any need for words or representation on the stage.

Dinner is available for members of the Arts Club starting at 6 pm.

The Arts Club of Washington is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. located at 2017 I Street N.W., Washington D.C. 20006
