for a dual presentation of history and music.
Join us to learn about this famous and surprising era and area. The U Street District served as the economic, cultural, and spiritual center for African Americans during the height of the Jim Crow era.
Snap your fingers and tap your toes to the musical offerings highlighting the jazz movement of the time, from the 1900s to the 1950s, from a backdrop of musical performances hailing legends such as Pearl Bailey, Nat King Cole, Cab Calloway, and Billy Eckstine performed by DC's own Roz White and Steve Washington.
Not to be missed, this sell out performance promises to entertain the whole evening.
