Joan Kwon Glass will read from her latest books of poetry at 7 pm via Zoom.
Joan’s first full-length poetry collection, “Night Swim,” won the 2021 Diode Poetry Prize, her micro-chapbook “Bloodline” won the 2021 Harbor Review Washburn Prize and her chapbook “How to Make Pancakes for a Dead Boy” won the Harbor Editions Marginalia Contest.
Poet Ellen Bass has praised Night Swim as "mature and deeply moving" as shown in these lines from the poem Exit Wound:
The mortician had to come back twice/to fix where my sister had rubbed her dead child's face/all night
Following the reading there will be an opportunity for questions.
