About the artists:

Violist Tonya Burton is an active chamber musician and soloist throughout the United States. She is a member of the Kinetic Ensemble, NaTonya Duo as well as the Arco Ensemble. She recently released her debut solo album featuring the music of Max Reger under the Tonsehen label.

Dr. Natalie Groom is the clarinet professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Music Director of the Davies Concert Series, Manager of Advancement Operations and Analytics at Washington Performing Arts, and a voting member of the GRAMMY Recording Academy. She is the co-founder of Whistling Hens, a soprano and clarinet duo that performs and commissions music by women composers, and clarinetist of the Natonya Duo with violist Tonya Burton, focusing on music of the 20th and 21st centuries.
