Trifilio Tango Trio, led by bandoneonist Emmanuel Trifilio and cellist Devree Lewis, offers a new look at Argentinian tango. With a fresh perspective on the genre, their concert repertoire is almost entirely comprised of Sr. Trifilio's original tango pieces: brand new, yet true to tango tradition. Recorded in Buenos Aires, their new album ORIGINAL(2016) showcases new compositions by Sr. Trifilio. His Trifilio Tango Trio (bandoneon, cello, guitar) realizes the seduction and intimacy of tango- from an original voice.
