Short Story Round-Robin Live Reading and Discussion

O Henry: "The Gift of the Magi"

Thursday, December 17, at 1:00 pm

OPEN TO MEMBERS - FREE

The Literature Committee invites you to join us for a special installment in the short story reading-and-discussion series to be held Thursday, December 17, at 1:00 p.m.--"The Gift of the Magi" by O Henry.  Yes, it's a chestnut, but also a classic and a masterpiece of the genre--a humorous, ironic tale of gift giving that we all can relate to especially at this holiday time of year.  There is a bit of Jim and Della, who star in the story, in each of us.

Participants will take turns reading the story aloud, in round-robin fashion, and then discuss it afterward.  Literature Committee member and Bill "Once a Librarian, Always a Librarian" Turner will facilitate.

Please join us!  RSVP online today!

An invitation to join the event on Zoom will be sent once you register.
