Join fellow members and guests for a gourmet dinner, cocktail hour and piano performance by Alvin Smithson.

Alvin Smithson is an established presence in the Washington, DC, area music and theater scene as a pianist, composer, arranger, musical director and teacher.  Following graduation from Kansas University with a Bachelor of Music degree, he moved to this area to pursue his studies at the Catholic University of America where he earned Master of Music degree in piano performance with emphasis on performance physiology.  Over the years, he has won top prizes in national competitions and was a bronze medal winner in the International Piano Recording Competition.

Alvin can be seen and heard regularly in various area theaters and cabarets. He has performed at numerous venues including Kennedy Center, Strathmore, Arena Stage and Creative Cauldron.

To keep artists and audience safe the attendance for this event is strictly limited to 30 and all food and drinks are passed. Please adhere to the Arts Club's guideline while attending this event:

Plan for a Safe Reopening

Members & their guests can stay for dinner after the program. Seating will be available Inside and outside (weather permitting) at table of up to 6 guests.

Business dress.

A reservation is required for dinner by 5 pm the day before.
