Short Story Round-Robin Live Reading and Discussion

Roald Dahl: "Lamb to the Slaughter"

Thursday, September 17 at 1:00 pm

OPEN TO MEMBERS - FREE

The Literature Committee is pleased to announce installment #6 in the short story reading-and-discussion series, held every third Thursday of the month, at 1:00 p.m. The featured story is "Lamb to the Slaughter" by Roald Dahl, published in 1953 and adapted for an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents on TV in 1958.  This one will give you goose bumps and make you laugh at the same time.  Plus you may never again want to dine on a leg of lamb.

Participants will take turns reading the story aloud, in round-robin fashion, and then discuss it afterward.  Literature Committee member and librarian Bill Turner will offer remarks and act as facilitator.

Participation is open to Arts Club members, with a limit of 12 readers and any more to go on a wait list.  Any others are welcome to sit in as audience.  An invitation to join the event on Zoom will be sent in the confirmation email and reminders.

Please join us.  RSVP online today!
