One of the most exciting and creative pianists in New York City today,  Davis Whitfield is a recent graduate of the Berklee College of Music, where he received the Presidential Scholarship. Prior to attending Berklee, Davis directed and arranged for weekly Jazz Standard performances by the Jazz Standard Youth Orchestra. He appears at every major jazz venue in New York City, including Dizzy's Coca Cola, Smalls, the Jazz Standard, in addition to appearances throughout Europe. As the son of two musicians, Davis has been immersed in the musical arts his entire life.

"Davis Whitfield is a young player that plays with the experience of a seasoned veteran. He has his own style but, if you listen closely you can hear the influence of McCoy Tyner, Thelonious Monk and Count Basie." Bob Kaufman, Berklee
