OPEN TO MEMBERS - FREE
The Literature Committee is pleased to announce a new series of online events--starting with a reading and discussion of Anton Chekhov's classic short story "The Bet" which will take place Thursday, April 23, at 1:00 p.m. on Go-To-Meeting. Participants will take turns reading the story aloud a few paragraphs at a time, in round-robin fashion, and discuss it afterward. Literature Committee member and former librarian Bill Turner will act as facilitator.
Participation is limited to twelve, with a wait-list to be kept for any more people who respond. An invitation to join the meeting on Go-To-Meeting, along with some questions to consider, will be sent to participants early next week.
Please join us as the Arts Club launches anew into social media--and add your voice to the reading and discussion of Chekhov's story.
RSVP to Bill Turner by Monday, April 20 at 5pm at dc_billturner@yahoo.com or 571-266-2147.
