DAVE SANDERS
Dave Sanders (M.A. Rutgers University, B.M. Temple University) is a guitarist in the Washington D.C. area. He has shared the stage with a variety of acts and performers, including Patti LuPone, Liz Callaway, Betty Who, Branford Marsalis, Wycliffe Gordon, Nathan Gunn, the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra, the American Pops, John Swana, and Larry McKenna. Dave’s playing can be heard on WRTI FM in Philadelphia, and he has previously appeared as a featured solo artist at the Jazz by Night Music Festival. In addition to his performing career, Dave has worked often as an educator (Towson University, Rutgers University) and occasionally, he writes for publications like the Ethnomusicology Review.
