MMQ's Le Salon and the Arts Club of Washington present: Three 10-minute plays, hors d'oeuvres, and bubbly!
The Arts Club of Washington Drama Committee, MMQ and LaTido invite you to an evening inspired by 19th century "Theatre de Salon Soirée" popular with French high society.
Accompanied by Linda Hemphill, Larry Gray, Managing Director for LaTiDo, will sing classic songs of superhero lore and he plays “Pushy Bob” in Dixon and Engelman’s play The League of Semi-Superheroes. Larry has been active in the DC theater scene for over 14 years. As an Actor, Singer, Stage Manager, and Producer, he has been seen on stage in productions with Little Theater of Alexandria, Dominion Stage of Arlington, St Marks Players DC, Port City Playhouse, and The Arlington Players. Larry says, “I am excited to be a part of this collaboration between La-Ti-Do and MMQ. The mission of La Ti Do has always been to support artists and give them the opportunity to perform and grow. MMQ and The Arts Club are like minded. If we can help support the arts and provide means and encouragement for artists, then we have made our world a richer better place.” At Le Salon guests will be greeted with libations and hors d’oeuvres, with refilling breaks between each entertainment of dance, music, and a bit of theatre FUN. It’s a soiree that encourages mingling and the opportunity to enjoy the original work of local and international artists on display throughout the historic Arts Club. So, please join the FUN. It's going to be a blast!
With coffee and tea, the evening ends.
