Pianist/Composer Burnett Thompson’s latest creation directs a musical spotlight on an age of revolution and deadly chaos, with a series of concerts in DC, NYC, Paris, London, Lisbon, Prague, and Berlin, all timed with a new album. "His moods and means shift constantly. ...improvisations dazzle in their own sweet and astringently abstract way." Jazz Times "a distinctly personal musical expression, a quixotic, extemporaneous meditation" The Washington Post Burnett is joined by bassist Nicole Saphos. Nicole rises above the noise as a startlingly creative force as jazz bassist, song writer, and vocalist. She recently released a singular recording organized around a journey of personal revelation.
"Nicole has creative attitude towards her music that leads her to create a uniquely hazy and funky ambiance.” All About Jazz
