The historic Arts Club of Washington invites you to a garden summer party and open house to celebrate the season. This entertaining event will feature a gourmet summer buffet, an open bar with refreshing cocktails, a fun raffle, a best hat contest, and harpist Isabelle Frouvelle.
A native of Toulouse, France, Frouvelle is a certified professor of harp who has studied with some of the great masters of the French School of Harp. She will delight you with a performance of classic and romantic musical mood from her large repertoire.

The Arts Club of Washington, the oldest art organization in DC, over a century old, promotes and celebrates the visual, performing, and literary arts in the nation’s capital. The club’s historic I Street mansion was formerly the home of President James Monroe. The Arts Club hosts events for members, the public and private groups.
The club sponsors the Marfield Prize, an annual award for arts writing, monthly exhibits in the house’s four galleries, and a scholarship competition.
