POETRY LUNCH with Katherine E. Young

The Arts Club welcomes former Arlington, VA, poet laureate and NEA translation fellow Katherine E. Young to discuss the ways her work as a translator of Russian-language poetry and prose and experiences living in Russia and the former Soviet Union influence her poetry in English. Young will read from recently published translations of poet Inna Kabysh and others and novelist and Azerbaijani political prisoner Akram Aylisli, as well as her poetry in English.
