The Arts Club of Washington will establish an exciting new activity beginning Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Under the direction of the Drama Committee and production of Club member, Antoinette Ford, we will launch The Story Salon. The Story Salon will base its storytelling program on Reminiscence Theatre. The Story Salon will include various genre of music, encourage intergenerational participation, stimulate face-to-face conversation and create a welcoming environment. Experienced storytellers from Double Nickels Theatre Company will guide us in refining our stories and making them ready for production. Arts Club members who are storytellers and those interested in storytelling are warmly welcome to contact us before the initial meeting. The goals of the Story Salon include creating productions around stories we share and meeting Interesting individuals from diverse backgrounds throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area. In addition to Storytellers we welcome those interested in helping create the productions. Join us and show your support at the complimentary launch of the Story Salon on October 30th and hear more details. Non-members are welcome. Our goal is to have a Story Salons every month.
