"Rhyme for Human Peace/Comfort for the Atrocity Victims"

This Literary Committee’s program commemorates what many regard as the “Nanking Massacre” of 1937, when the Japanese army occupied Nanking–then the capital city of the Republic of China—with a span of conflict that extended into January 1938. This vibrant program will engage that loss in poetry and music, with selected readings by distinguished local writers and live piano performance of works by Chopin, Schubert, and others.

Doors open at 6:30 pm

Program 7:00 pm

Limited seating available please RSVP
